How can you get out of a Math nightmare?

What is the first thing to do?

Firstly, it is important that you start a few days before the actual due date. This step is crucial because Math requires practice and, of course that takes a long time. Then, take out your exercise book and gather everything that you need to solve that particular problem. Make sure that you’ve got a ruler, protractor and compass. These are the essentials of any Math problem, whatever it may be. Then, clear your mind. You’re very unlikely to solve a problem in a rage, especially Math. This subject requires all of your attention, so you can’t slack off now. When you’ve started, look at the question. Most often the answer is still in the question, you just need to find it. And it is really important to have a working column on the right hand side of the page.

Is it important to do the working?

Yes, this is the most crucial step of the whole assignment, as this explains each step of the problem clearly. Take out a ruler and soft pencil, and separate the column with a straight line. Look at what needs to be done on the question that you’ve been given. Do what comes first. For example, if a problem asks you to add and multiply, do both of those in their respective orders. And for those long equations, working left to right is the rule of thumb. This will automatically make the problem easier, putting what’s harder to the left.

How much time will it take?

That depends on the type of problem. If it is short, such as an addition word problem, it probably wouldn’t take more than five to ten minutes. However, if it is an equation involving all four operations, then it might take more than fifteen minutes. But this also depends on the speed you’re working in. But that doesn’t mean that you should start rushing around. Math always takes a lot of time to work around, so go along with it and be patient. And don’t take too long, ask a family member or watch educational videos to guide you along the problem you’re stuck on.

What does it take to be a Math pro?

Not too much. All it takes to be a Math homework doer is some determination, and integrity. Once you start practicing, it shall start to come together beautifully, like never before.
